About Us
The Strategy Team within Energy Networks at E.ON transforms insights into concrete strategies that drive our business forward. We ensure that our strategic initiatives are grounded in reality and contribute to a sustainable energy transition. By combining business acumen with a focus on cost-effectiveness and adaptability, we create the prerequisites for future energy solutions.
We are now looking for a Strategic Analyst who wants to contribute to the team's work, with a particular focus on supporting the organization with environmental scanning and strategic deep dives.
Your Role
In this role, you will have many contact points with decision-makers at all levels within the group. You will play a leading role in establishing a structured and efficient environmental scanning process, together with colleagues in the group as well as other parts of the group. You will also be a key player in strategic projects and deep dives aimed at managing both opportunities and challenges for E.ON. The role involves a combination of predictable, recurring work, as well as more ad-hoc initiatives where creativity and problem-solving are truly put to the test.
The work also involves supporting the CEO and the management group with presentations and decision support, as well as collaborating with internal stakeholders to create direction in a complex and changing environment. You will have the opportunity to combine an analyst role with working closely with decision-makers and influencing strategic choices during a time of energy transition, in a team that combines business strategy with operational grounding, where your ability to create structure and clarity makes a real difference.
Your Experience
We are looking for someone who is passionate about strategic analysis and making the complex understandable and relevant for decision-makers at all levels. You are accustomed to handling both quantitative and qualitative information, communicating effectively, and working against tight deadlines. You have a relevant academic background in fields such as economics, engineering, or social sciences, and experience from management consulting or similar is an advantage.
As a person, you are structured, communicative, and goal-oriented. You thrive in collaboration with others and have an egalitarian approach. Your analytical ability is combined with curiosity and drive, which contributes to a collaborative and forward-looking team climate.
What is it like working with us?
Your direct manager, Matilda Carlsson, leads the team with a supportive and trust-based leadership style that creates the prerequisites for an inclusive work environment. She has extensive experience with strategic issues within the energy industry and a strong commitment to renewable energy and sustainable development.
At E.ON, we actively work with inclusion - it is crucial for driving the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a secure work environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development. We continue to challenge ourselves to create a welcoming workplace where we hope you will thrive.
We work for a more sustainable energy society, but it is just as important that our employees have the prerequisites to care for their personal sustainability. We therefore offer good benefits so that you can feel good and have a good balance between work and leisure. Some of these include reduced working hours that are higher than the industry standard, health insurance, free healthcare, and more!
