RESPONSIBILITIES
At the Community Development Administration in Växjö, we have been at the forefront of environmental issues and technological development for many years. The water and wastewater facilities are continuously supplemented, and extensive modernizations and new constructions, such as biogas/vehicle gas, have contributed to creating an interesting workplace in a good and developmental environment. On the Water and Wastewater Department, we have approximately 70 employees responsible for, among other things, seven waterworks and twelve wastewater treatment plants, including associated stations and pipeline networks within Växjö Municipality.
We are now looking for a Process Engineer (Driftingenjör) located at the Sundet Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Do you like challenges and days that are never the same? We offer an interesting and varied job as a Process Engineer here. You will be part of a knowledgeable technical team of 9 people. The work includes process monitoring, optimization, operation, and maintenance of the Sundet Wastewater Treatment Plant and its associated facilities. On-call duties may be included, and the work can be physically demanding. Having a B-class driver's license is a requirement.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who want to take responsibility and develop within an operational organization. You are a versatile professional in the technical field. You thrive and want to be part of a business that is undergoing strong development.
You should have a university education with a technical focus or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have a good ability to familiarize yourself with different technical systems, such as pumps, machines, and analysis instruments.
We would appreciate it if you had knowledge in control and regulation technology with a focus on process technology, as well as a basic understanding of water purification technology. Experience in working with energy issues is an advantage. As a person, you are development-oriented and have the ability to identify improvement opportunities. You work in a structured manner and can plan, prioritize, and organize your work effectively.
If you also have practical experience in operational work and knowledge in drawing review, we see this as meritorious.
