Your responsibilities

A day with us involves care and support tasks, delegated interventions, and service alongside wonderful colleagues. As a nursing assistant, you perform qualified tasks included in the nursing assistant role, such as the delegation of medication, insulin, and dialysis.

In our work, we base our approach on the individual customer's needs and wishes to provide good, close care and support. The work is carried out in close collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

We use digital solutions in our daily work, such as signing for administered medications and documenting in our business system and quality assurance system. Our digital solutions mean that you are expected to be able to use both computers, mobile phones, and associated digital aids.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant. If you have previously worked in elderly care and on a dementia ward, this is a big plus. Furthermore, we view it positively if you have specialized training in dementia diseases.

If you have system knowledge related to our digital systems, you are exactly who we are looking for. We work with, among others, Heroma, Lifecare, and APPVA. We are soon starting to use the new system Medvind.

As a person, you have the ability to create trust, security, and engagement among customers and colleagues when working closely with the customer. You are accommodating and receptive to those you collaborate with, and you have an easy time explaining, listening, and conveying information both verbally and in writing.

Söndrum Care and Support Residence will be completed in early 2027. Located in Bäckagård, the residence is surrounded by beautiful green areas inviting to walks and relaxation. Nearby you will find Tylösand, the accessibility-adapted bathing area at Svärjarehålan, and the commercial area Flygstaden. There are good bus connections to the workplace with a stop nearby.

The residence will have wards for dementia care, somatic care, and psychogeriatric care.

Leadership with both heart and experience!

The operations will be led by Jonna Norén and Lina Brandt. Together they combine experience from nursing homes, home care, the nursing profession, and leadership. Jonna comes most recently from the role of unit manager at Dalsbo Care and Support Residence and has previously worked as a nurse. Lina has many years of experience as a manager in home care and has been the unit manager at Vallås Care and Support Residence for the past few years.

Together they share the ambition to create a workplace characterized by security, development, participation, and job satisfaction – a place where both employees and customers have the opportunity to grow.
