About the RoleDo you want to work practically with vehicles while contributing to a more sustainable future in the automotive industry? At LKQ Atracco, you get the chance to become an important part of the flow in one of Sweden's leading operations within car dismantling.
We are now looking for an engaged and driven dismantler for our facility. Here, you will become part of the workshop department and work together with a competent team where experienced colleagues introduce you to our working methods and processes. We offer meaningful work focused on reuse and sustainability.
Working hours: 7:00–16:00
Employment type: Permanent position with a 6-month probation period
Location: Mönsterås
ResponsibilitiesAs a dismantler, you work with recovering valuable parts from end-of-life and damaged vehicles. The work is practical, varied, and requires both precision and speed. You work with many different car brands and models, meaning no two days are alike.
In your role, you will among other things:
- Dismantle vehicles and take apart various components
- Sort, clean, and prepare parts for reuse
- Check and quality-assure parts before they move forward
- Receive and handle incoming vehicles
- Perform simple tests and decontamination if necessary
We believe you thrive in a practical role where you get to work with your hands and see concrete results from your work. You are meticulous, responsible, and have an easy time collaborating with others.
To succeed in the role, you are also flexible and have the ability to switch between different tasks during the day. You have an interest in cars and technology, and perhaps you have done a lot of DIY mechanical work or worked with vehicles previously. Experience is meritorious, but your attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
We would like you to have:- Secondary education in vehicles or similar (meritorious)
- Experience from car or workshop work (meritorious)
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
- Basic computer skills
- Class B driver's license
