About the Department

Community Development provides the prerequisites for a sustainable society in change and contributes to ensuring that all residents and businesses in Nybro Municipality can live a good life.

We create plans for Nybro's future, manage the municipality's land and local supply, produce maps, grant building permits, plan and build the city's traffic environment, maintain parks and green areas, operate leisure and sports facilities, ensure a good housing environment, clean premises, prepare meals, and much, much more.

We also provide advice and support to people and businesses to ensure compliance, which is why we conduct supervision in areas such as environmental, food, building, and traffic issues. We are a team with mixed ages and diverse experiences.

The tasks are varied, and we work with a high degree of autonomy.

Local Cleaning Services

The local cleaning team consists of a group of approximately 65 cleaners. With engagement and pride, we are responsible for regular cleaning and periodic maintenance in the municipality's premises, such as schools, preschools, sports halls, special housing, and offices. We also perform cleaning services for home care clients throughout the municipality. It is important to us to maintain high quality, and we have high customer satisfaction that we strive to preserve.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for an experienced and engaged cleaner who has the ability to build good relationships with both customers/clients and colleagues. The work requires good planning and initiative skills, as well as curiosity for new challenges. Since tasks and workplaces may vary, a flexible attitude and the ability to prioritize and adapt your tasks are also required. As a cleaner for this position, you will also support the group that cleans at the homes of approved clients.

Working hours may vary between 06:00–14:30 and 07:30–16:00, depending on which team you are assigned to at any given time.

Qualifications

We look for candidates with broad experience in cleaning and who are self-sufficient in both regular cleaning and periodic maintenance. It is an advantage if you have cleaning education, such as SRY or PRYL, and experience working in public environments.

To thrive in the role of a cleaner with us, it is also important that you have good teamwork skills, are flexible, solution-oriented, and able to independently plan and organize your work. Furthermore, it is important that you have a service-oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills. Personal suitability is highly valued.

You need to have basic knowledge of the Swedish language and a valid Category B driver's license.
