We are currently looking for a new supervisor for the cleaning operations at Oskarshamn Hospital.

About you

As the Supervisor for the cleaning operations, you are responsible for planning and managing the daily operational work for the other cleaners, which also includes covering short-term absences. Coordination with the first-line manager takes place when covering longer-term absences. You are well-versed in current hygiene and safety regulations and ensure that these are followed by the staff. You are also responsible for ensuring that routines for maintenance and upkeep are followed, as well as ordering equipment.

The role requires good collaboration with colleagues, other professional groups, and external contacts. It is important to meet customers and communicate in a knowledgeable, pedagogical, objective, and pleasant manner at all times. Being receptive and promoting good dialogue is essential.

You identify and handle expectations, requirements, and requests from customers and employees. The person we are looking for is solution-focused, pedagogical, methodical, and creative. Furthermore, it is important that you contribute to a good team spirit within the work group. As a supervisor, you are also expected to work as a cleaner and perform internal quality controls.

Several years of experience in cleaning work and experience in a supervisory role are meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have experience in change management and are familiar with current regulations and laws. You must have a 3-year upper secondary education or working-life experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. The person we are looking for must hold at least validation according to the OCN method and have received the SRY Basic Level 3 certificate.

A Category B driver's license is a requirement.
