Both design and production take place in their own factory in Ilsbo, with a continuous focus on innovation and development to ensure that machine operators have access to the market's best solutions.

Production is consolidated in Ilsbo, where approximately 100 employees work with manufacturing and assembly. Functions such as design, product support, internal sales, and purchasing are also located here.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of Strategic Buyer, you will have broad and varied responsibility for the entire purchasing process. You will work closely with production and become part of a team consisting of buyers/production planners and designers.

You will drive and develop supplier collaborations with a focus on quality, delivery precision, and commercial terms, including negotiations. The role also involves supporting operational purchasing as needed to ensure material supply to production and customers. This includes, among other things, order placement, evaluating purchase proposals, delivery monitoring, as well as dialogue with suppliers and handling deviations.

Furthermore, you will work on updating system parameters, contribute to developing routines and improvements within the purchasing function, and identify and evaluate new suppliers. The role also includes visiting suppliers and hosting visits at the site in Ilsbo.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a purchasing education and/or relevant work experience in purchasing, preferably from the workshop industry, production, or manufacturing of metal products. A prerequisite for success in the role is good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as generally good system and computer skills. Experience working in production or business systems is also important.

Previous experience working in Monitor or similar ERP systems is an advantage, as is experience from purchasing roles within the manufacturing industry. Technical understanding, preferably related to metal or production, as well as negotiation skills, are also considered meritorious.

As a person, you are secure and solution-oriented, with the ability to see different paths forward in challenging situations. You work in a structured and planned manner and thrive in an environment where the pace is sometimes high. The role requires good collaboration skills and clear communication, where you contribute to an open and transparent working approach both internally and in cooperation with suppliers.
