The Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS) is now looking for you who want to contribute to the continued development of logistics within the Swedish Armed Forces and help strengthen Sweden's defense capability. You will have a central role in the leadership and work within the logistics area for the entire FMTIS.

About the Unit

The position is located in the logistics unit's staff, which after the summer will belong to the newly established Military Base Arboga. The staff of the Military Base needs competence in the logistics area to handle both the Military Base's logistics needs and referred units in Arboga and the surrounding area. Since the military base in Arboga is a new organization, we are looking for you who want to be part of our development journey and build something from scratch.

Main Responsibilities

As Logistics Officer in Military Base Arboga, you lead and plan logistics work at a comprehensive level. Your responsibility covers all areas within logistics, with a major focus on creating routines and conditions for an efficient organization. You will have the opportunity to largely shape the role yourself and be part of creating an organization from the ground up.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Degree as an officer or specialist officer training
  • Good knowledge of the Office package
  • Good skills in expressing yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
  • Driver's license with at least category B (manual transmission)
  • Experience in logistics and/or supply

Merits

  • Experience with the IT system PRIO (SAP)
  • Experience with the IT system LIFT
  • Good skills in expressing yourself in speech and writing in English
  • Experience working in a staff environment (in military or civilian contexts)
  • Previously served in logistics positions or within the technical service function area

Other Information

Employment Type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a 6-month probation period for those not already employed within the agency.
