To our largest facility, Högbytorp in Upplands-Bro, we are now looking for a Mechanic specializing in vehicles/machinery.

The Role

As a Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to develop through varied and stimulating tasks related to vehicle and machinery maintenance. You will work in our workshop and report to the workshop manager on the department.

Your tasks include coordinating, developing, and executing work in the workshop and at the facility. You will also work actively in our maintenance system, Maintmaster, order spare parts, troubleshoot vehicles/equipment, order jobs, and obtain quotes. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicles and machinery.

• Mechanical repairs on work machines
• Various vehicle repairs
• Mechanical maintenance on various facilities
• Store and workshop duties
• Dialogue with our contractors and suppliers

Your Profile

You who apply for the position have a high school education in automotive or mechanical engineering, or other education/experience considered equivalent. We prefer that you have a few years of work experience in mechanical work within automotive or mechanical engineering. Welding experience is an advantage.

You are an independent and unpretentious person with a good sense of service and the ability to build good relationships with both colleagues and customers. You work equally well independently as part of a team. Furthermore, you are flexible and proactive, as the nature of the work and its conditions may change. We see that you are technically inclined, enjoy working with vehicles/equipment, and solving problems as they arise.

A Category B driver's license is required. Having a machine operator's license (e.g., for a loader), Category BE license, or forklift license is an advantage. Task distribution and reporting are done through our maintenance program, so computer literacy is a requirement. In this position, you must be able to communicate freely in both Swedish and English.

The work may involve heavy lifting. Evening shifts may occur on special occasions.

The location is Högbytorp, Upplands-Bro. You need access to a car to get to the workplace.
