Description

We are now looking for a music teacher who wants to play an important role in the students' development and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives. You will be an important part of inspiring and motivating students to develop their practical and theoretical knowledge in the subject of music. The position involves a varied and dynamic work environment where you will have the opportunity to meet students at several schools and contribute to their learning and development.

You will teach physically at our newly built schools, Stockfallets Skola and Vallargärdets Skola. We are responsible for creating a sustainable and well-functioning schedule for this.

Responsibilities

As a music teacher, you will, independently and in collaboration with colleagues, lead and take responsibility for the pedagogical work in the operation based on the curriculum's assignments. With a variation of working methods, forms of expression, and learning environments, you will together create a meaningful day that also takes into account the students' needs, interests, and experiences.

You collaborate and work together with colleagues in the work team so that students have a positive and meaningful day where knowledge development and social development are in focus. You drive development together with colleagues in the work team and with the school's other staff.

In the position, you will teach 50% at Stockfallets Skola and 20% at Vallargärdets Skola.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who are qualified and licensed as a music teacher for grades F–6 (preschool to grade 6).

We are looking for you who enjoy working independently and have a good ability to create a structured, safe, and developmental learning environment for the students. You take initiative and plan and conduct teaching with engagement and responsibility, while being sensitive to the students' different needs and prerequisites.

In your work, you are thorough in your preparations and curious about developing your teaching by trying new methods and materials. You have a clear focus on the students' learning and development, and you adapt the teaching so that every student is given the opportunity to succeed.

As a person, you easily create good relationships and build trust in meetings with students, colleagues, and guardians. You work purposefully, vary your teaching methods, and give clear and constructive feedback to the students.

You create structure in the teaching while encouraging student influence, participation, and creativity.
