About the position

At Olivia, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant at 75% for our client in Växjö.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

  • Day: 07:30 - 16:00 or 07:30 - 19:30

  • Evening: 16:00 - 23:00

  • Night (sleeping on-call with 3 hours' waiting time): 23:00 - 08:30

The position includes working 2 weekends per month.

Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer that you can start training immediately.

About the client

The client is a man in his 40s with an interest in sports, music, and film. Our client needs your help as an assistant in his daily life due to a muscle disease. There are assistive devices in the home such as a lift, shower chair, and breathing mask.

The tasks are as follows:

  • Support with daily routines and household chores

  • Assist with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals

  • Practical support in daily activities

  • Assist with transfers

Are you the one we are looking for?

We believe that you who apply for this position are someone who enjoys working with people and can put others' needs first. As a person, you are empathetic, socially aware, solution-focused, proactive, and reliable. You have a calm personality and understand the difference between mental and physical functional variations.

Requirements:

  • Manual B driver's license to drive the client to work

  • Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

  • Physical strength as manual transfers occur

  • Non-smoker

Merits:

  • Experience working as a personal assistant or within care and social services

Employment level: 75%

Start date: Immediately

Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the final application date.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Things to consider before applying:

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID and submit a certificate of personal registration (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal registration from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.

To work as a personal assistant with us, you must be at least 18 years old. The age requirement follows the rules regarding personal assistance, escort, and substitute in the LSS Act and the Social Insurance Code.

To work with children and young people under 18, you must present a certificate of no criminal record (extract from the criminal record register). From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extracts are ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so order well in advance.
