Do you want to shape the future of truck/bus mechanics? We are now looking for an instructor for our labor market education in Västerås.

Here, you have the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with individuals who wish to take the next step in their careers. The education program has been developed in collaboration with the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) and provides participants with highly sought-after skills in vehicle damage repair – an industry with a high demand for labor.

About the position
As an instructor, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on teaching together with your colleagues. You guide participants both practically and theoretically in areas such as:

• Planning and performing service and repair work on vehicles based on manufacturer instructions, while adhering to relevant regulations and current safety and working environment requirements.
• Selecting and using relevant tools and methods for servicing and repairing vehicle chassis, powertrains, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Communicating service and repair work with customers, handling reporting and follow-up systems, and using instructions and guidelines in both Swedish and English during service and repair work.

You teach both in groups and individually, adapting the education to the participants' needs and prerequisites.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 5 years of documented professional experience as a mechanic with heavy vehicles (trucks, buses, machinery).
• Thrives in a pedagogical role and enjoys helping others develop.
• Is confident in leading groups and planning educational modules.
• Has good communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has a valid B driver's license.

Previous experience as a supervisor, team leader, or instructor is meritorious – but the most important thing is that you want to share your knowledge.

We offer

• Primarily full-time positions, but we are also looking for hourly/part-time employees if you, for example, are a retiree with the right experience who wishes to work on an hourly basis.
