We offer modern and flexible housing solutions for businesses, municipalities, and other vital societal functions. As we grow, we are now looking for a Technical Property Manager / Property Caretaker who wants to help develop our properties and create pleasant living environments for our customers.

Workplace
The position is based in Västerås and covers Stay Smart's properties around the Mälaren Valley region, including Eskilstuna, Köping, Kungsör, and Enköping.
About the Role
As a Technical Property Manager and Property Caretaker, you are responsible for the long-term technical management as well as the daily operation and maintenance of the company's properties and technical systems. You are the technical expert who ensures that properties and systems function optimally, are safe, energy-efficient, and meet the business's needs. The role combines strategic management thinking with practical maintenance work.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the technical management of properties and facilities, including operation, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Perform daily property care, e.g., minor repairs, troubleshooting, and monitoring of technical systems (ventilation, heating, electricity, plumbing, control and regulation technology).
- Identify areas for improvement and propose technical solutions that increase efficiency and sustainability.
- Create and follow up on maintenance schedules, technical plans, and budgets.
- Coordinate projects and collaborate with internal departments, tenants, and external suppliers/contractors.
- Participate in tenders, technical evaluations, and improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal guidelines within property and technology.
- Document systems, maintenance, and technical decisions.
Qualifications
- Relevant technical education, such as property technology, construction, electrical engineering, plumbing/HVAC, or industrial technology.
- Experience in technical management and property care.
- Good knowledge of laws, regulations, and standards for property and technology.
- Ability to analyze technical problems and execute practical solutions on-site.
- Basic IT skills and experience with property management systems.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
