As a Foreman, you have an independent and varied job with significant personal responsibility. In close collaboration with the Site Manager, you plan and steer the projects, allocate resources, follow up and document daily work to ensure that we meet our commitments. You play an active role in leading and following up on-site work, including the management and follow-up of construction machinery, skilled workers, and subcontractors. You participate in the development of schedules, coordinate your own activities, and conduct work preparation meetings together with the team. A large part of your assignment involves engaging and motivating the team through participation and involvement. By working closely with the Site Manager, you will continuously develop in your role and gradually take on greater responsibility. Your profile We are looking for you who have a civil engineering education from a university, college, or vocational higher education program, or alternatively, several years of work experience from industrial or construction projects. We welcome both those with extensive industry experience and those with less experience but relevant education and a desire to develop. Additional information The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probation period. Since the role requires regular physical presence out in our projects, we are looking for someone who is mobile and desires an active and varied job where you get to be a key player in large and complex civil engineering and hydropower projects in southern Sweden. As the projects stretch from Värmland in the north to Skåne in the south, a Category B driver's license is required. This position will be subject to a background check in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
