Are you someone who values development, engagement, and thoughtfulness in your working life? Then we would be a great match – because we are too.

Here, you have the opportunity to grow – both as a person and in your professional role, while your work helps an entire community thrive. Regardless of your specific tasks, you will make life a little easier for everyone who lives and works here. And that is something we highly value. Our vision is to be a close-knit municipality with the human being at the center. Close to each other, our surroundings, and the future. Together, we ensure that an entire society functions.
1 position(s).
Responsibilities
Here, you drive projects that make a real difference, from securing our water supply to building safe school routes. You step into a role where we jointly take responsibility for community development with a great deal of heart, staying close to those we serve.
As a Project Manager here, you have overall responsibility for the municipality's infrastructure projects, primarily within Water and Wastewater (VA), but also for roads. You lead the work through the entire community building process, from early investigations to a completed, inspected, and handed-over project. Based on our project model, you ensure that we create long-term societal benefits and sustainable solutions for everyone living and working here.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing projects within VA and roads from the early stages to completion and handover
- Managing budgets, forecasts, quality, schedules, and goals, as well as working with follow-up and risk management
- Leading and coordinating project teams and external actors throughout the implementation
- Developing decision-making materials and technical documents, and contributing to investigations and detailed planning
- Planning and conducting procurements in collaboration with the purchasing unit, including requirement setting and follow-up
- Ensuring workplace safety in projects and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Contributing to dialogue, sustainability work, and the development of working methods in projects
Qualifications
We are looking for you who thrive in a varied daily routine and are motivated by building good relationships. We believe you are someone who contributes to our thoughtfulness through attentive collaboration, and that you have an engagement that drives the project team to strive in the same direction. For us, it is important that you want to be in an environment that is developmental, where you contribute to your colleagues and yourself continuing to grow professionally.
We see that you have a relevant technical post-secondary education, for example as an engineer in road/water, construction, or environment, or alternatively professional experience that we assess as equivalent. You have a good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and hold a B-driver's license for manual transmission.
We place great emphasis on your personal suitability and see that you as a person are distinctly result-oriented and work ambitiously to achieve high-set goals. You are a natural relationship builder who takes social initiative and easily makes new contacts, while your ability to collaborate allows you to find solutions that benefit the common goal without ego.
The position requires a security clearance.
Employment type: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent, start date: According to agreement.
Those who work within Marks Municipality jointly develop our community culture by being engaged, thoughtful, and developmental, for the long-term benefit of the individual and society.
