We are now looking for more machine operators for Modul in Kalix. We are growing and investing in the future, and are therefore looking for you who want to help develop one of Norrbotten's most modern manufacturing environments.

Since its start in Kalix in 1997, Modul has grown into a leading premium contract manufacturer in sheet metal. Today, we are about 60 employees delivering customized solutions to customers in several different industries.

About the role

As a machine operator, you will become an important part of our production. Depending on your experience, you will work within sheet metal processing, powder coating, or assembly. The work is varied and involves both independent tasks and close collaboration between departments. We value engagement and consider it a given that all employees are involved in developing and improving our processes and working methods.

The work involves you:

• Monitoring and operating our machines and production equipment
• Ensuring quality and delivery precision
• Working with continuous improvements and efficiency enhancements
• Collaborating closely with colleagues in different departments
• Contributing to a safe, orderly, and well-functioning work environment and workplace

Are you our future employee?

You have an interest in technology, production, and practical work. We welcome both those with experience from the industry and those with the right attitude to learn and a desire to develop together with us. We would prefer that you have a high school education in areas such as vehicles, workshop technology, process industry, electrical/automation, or equivalent.

Basic computer skills and the ability to read drawings are important for the role; having a forklift license is an extra plus.

You are meticulous and quality-conscious and thrive in tasks where precision and quality are important. As a person, you are calm and solution-oriented and maintain focus even when unexpected situations arise. You take initiative, contribute to improvements, and enjoy collaborating with others to achieve common goals. You also share Modul's values regarding equality, equity, and diversity. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

If you have experience from the industry and have previously worked with any or several of the following machines and processes, it is an advantage:

• Punching machine
• Fiber laser
• Automatic panel bender
• Automatic press brake
• Manual press brake
• Welding and grinding robots
• Manual welding
• Tumbling machine
• Riveting machines
• Automation
