Kiruna Wagon, a leading workshop company based in the Malmfält region, is looking for motivated and technically interested individuals to join our tightly knit maintenance and production team.

We are specialists in railway logistics and maintenance, delivering innovative solutions for train wagon transport to world-leading industrial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various assembly and welding assembly tasks during maintenance and overhauls of components at our main depot in Gällivare.
• Conduct inspections and maintenance on railway wagons at our respective maintenance sites: Svappavaara, Aitik, and Kiruna. (This involves introduction to all work locations and areas).
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance according to work instructions and be available for deviations and corrective maintenance on locomotives in Kiruna and Abisko. You will become part of the development within our field maintenance team.
• Execute preventive maintenance measures and document them digitally.
• Opportunities for shift work and day shifts.

Qualifications:

• Swedish – Reading and speaking skills
• Category B driver's license

Merits:

• Vocational diploma or certificate.
• Welding certificate.
• Crane/Forklift/Wheel loader license.
• Relevant education in welding, mechanics, hydraulics, or electronics.
• Welding competence: Experience with welding in workshop or industrial environments.
• Workshop experience.
• Railway experience.

Personal qualities:

• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in field jobs across various assignments.
• Desire to learn and develop within railway logistics.
• Safety awareness and adherence to safety regulations.
