About the Social Services Department

The Social Services Department works to ensure that all citizens can receive the support they may need in various situations. This is done within the framework of the social services' mandate, various legislations, and the department's value base. This may include home care, special housing, advice and support for people with disabilities, social assistance, or help with substance abuse problems. The department also houses the municipality's competence supply unit.

The Social Services Department is divided into five areas: Home care, care and nursing homes, health and medical care, Individual and Family Care, and the area for people with disabilities.

The Social Services Department is looking for temporary staff for home care, care homes, disability support, personal assistance, and social psychiatry. Working as a temporary staff member means you are offered shorter assignments at various units within Karlskoga Municipality, sometimes with short notice. The work requires great flexibility, teamwork skills, and a sense of responsibility.

Qualifications and Merits

Requirements:

• Over 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills
• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Merits:

• High school education, preferably with a focus on the Care and Nursing program or the Child and Leisure program
• Category B driver's license
• Previous experience from similar work
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and nights

Employment Terms and Conditions

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months.
Start Date: Start date by agreement.
