You & Us & The Job

As a van driver at PostNord, you are irreplaceable. You find your way, and your job is a journey towards climate-neutral freight transport. Transport is essential to reach all of Sweden, and we take responsibility from south to north, from countryside to city. We work purposefully to reduce our environmental impact, and you will be a key part of this by, among other things, being trained in fuel-efficient driving. Together, we are working to become fossil-free by 2030.

Are you a student or have another job and want to work extra? This is a job for you if you are flexible with work shifts, which usually happen with short notice. You will work between 0 and 39.9% of a full-time position and will be offered shifts approx. 1-2 times a week during daytime, with varying working hours within the time frame 07:45-16:30.

You will be based at Mejselgatan 9, Borlänge.

What you will do

• Loading, picking up, and distributing packages.
• Meeting our customers where they are. Whether they are agents, private, or business customers.

Who you are

• Curious and self-reliant: A large part of the job you do alone, but team spirit is important.
• Patient & secure: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You keep the balance.
• Organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are keywords. As well as order and punctuality. Our customers should be able to count on you and their shipments arriving on time.
• Have good physical fitness: Yes, you are sitting while driving, but you need to be able to lift when picking up and dropping off. For this, you need good strength and mobility.
• Adaptable: Unplanned things require flexibility.
• Service-oriented: Customer relationships require the right attitude and feel.
• You are unique: We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

What you bring with you

• High school diploma, or alternatively studying the final year of high school
• Category B driver's license and experience driving cars
• Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to find solutions
