We are looking for Transporters for the transport of the deceased.

Begravningsbolaget AB is now looking for new employees for the transport of the deceased as part of our mission.
We are looking for hourly extra staff for work during daytime, evenings, weekends, and as needed.
About the job - Transport and care of the deceased
When a person passes away, the body must be transported in a dignified and secure manner. This may involve picking up from the place of death to the nearest mortuary or transporting to the National Board of Forensic Medicine for examination.
As a transporter with us, you become part of the entire chain regarding the care of the deceased. The work is always carried out in teams of two, where you alternate between driver and assistant. You collaborate closely with authorities, the National Board of Forensic Medicine, municipal residences, external residences, as well as our own funeral agencies.
Working hours are variable, and the workload can fluctuate between high-intensity periods and calmer shifts. The work also involves responsibility for vehicle maintenance, material handling, and freedom under responsibility.
Job Responsibilities
- Transport and care of the deceased
- Casket loading and assignments for our funeral agencies
- Vehicle maintenance and handling of work and consumable materials
- Collaboration with authorities, healthcare staff, and relatives
Qualifications
- Upper secondary education or equivalent
- Category B driver's license (required) and confidence in driving larger vehicles
- Basic computer literacy
- Non-criminal record and not listed in the criminal register (check conducted in accordance with the Swedish Police Authority's requirements)
- Good physical condition and stable psyche, as the work can be both physically demanding and psychologically stressful
Merits
- Experience in transporting the deceased
- Experience from healthcare, social care, transport, or other service-oriented operations

A certificate of good conduct is required before employment.
