About us

Närhälsan Sandared is a well-functioning health center with 30 creative employees in various professional categories who together form a competent team. The commitment is high and the sense of well-being is strong. The health center is beautifully located by Viaredssjön, approximately 1.3 miles west of Borås city center. Good connections are available by train or bus from both Gothenburg and Borås.

About the job

As a medical foot care therapist at Närhälsan, you work with patients with special needs for medical foot care by preventing foot injuries, treating foot problems, providing secondary offloading and protection for healed foot ailments, and working with preventive care. Most of the work is carried out independently with your own clinic where you book patient visits yourself and handle the administration around the patient, where medical records are documented in Asynja Visph. However, you are also an important part of the health center's team and collaborate around the patient. You are involved in patient education, for example at diabetes school, as well as in training for staff and students, and actively participate in the organization's development work.

About you

You are a trained nurse assistant (undersköterska) with additional education as a medical foot care therapist. Experience from working in primary care is meritorious.

We are looking for you who have a good ability to work both independently and in a team, are flexible, and can make independent assessments. The workload is varying, so it is important that you have a good ability to prioritize among your tasks. A professional working method and a good attitude towards customers, patients, and colleagues is a matter of course for you. Other

The position is 60-80%, depending on the degree of employment, work at other of Närhälsan's units in the area may be included.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

As of July 1, 2023, "nurse assistant" (undersköterska) became a protected professional title. This means that you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nurse assistant within care and social services.
