We are now looking for a Nurse or Assistant Nurse/Caregiver for a one-year fixed-term position at the PEA unit in Falun – a workplace where commitment, collaboration, and professional interaction are at the center. At the PEA unit, we work with psychiatric emergency care and assessment of patients in need of psychiatric support and interventions. Here you will meet people in various life situations and become an important part of creating safety, stability, and the right care at the right time.

The employment is a one-year fixed-term contract with a start date to be agreed upon.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with patients and be an important part of psychiatric nursing and daily care work.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Nursing care and patient-centered support.
  • Observations and psychiatric assessments.
  • Conversations and support for patients and relatives.
  • Documentation and care planning.
  • Collaboration with colleagues and other healthcare providers.
  • Contributing to a safe, secure, and professional care environment.

We staff the PEA unit Monday–Wednesday between 08:00–21:00, Thursday–Friday 08:00–24:00, and Saturday–Sunday 14:00–24:00.

We use a rotating shift schedule.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or qualified Assistant Nurse.
  • Experience working in psychiatry or emergency care.
  • Confident, responsible, and with a good attitude towards patients.
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment where the pace can change quickly.
  • Good collaboration skills and ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license (Category B, manual transmission).

Merits:
