About Us
The National Centre for Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Mine Clearance (Swedec) is part of the Swedish Armed Forces and serves as the national competence centre for land-based explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) and mine clearance operations, as well as military search services. Swedec hosts the Unit Command. We are responsible for the Army's EOD and Search Company, which includes the EOD Platoon and the Advanced Search Platoon. We often work in close cooperation with other units both nationally and internationally. Here, you will become part of a highly specialized team that regularly participates in missions to make a difference.
Main Responsibilities
The role involves providing close administrative and organizational support to the unit leadership and contributing to a well-functioning daily operation. The work entails ensuring effective information management and supporting managers and office holders in their ongoing tasks. You will act as a coordinating function responsible for structure, documentation, and the efficient flow of cases and information within the unit.
Examples of main responsibilities include:
- Scheduling shifts for unit personnel
- Creating and managing documents according to established routines
- Calling and administering meetings
- Distributing and following up incoming cases to the appropriate office holders
- Managing the unit leadership's vehicles
- Administering and maintaining the unit's collaboration platforms
Requirements
Qualifications
- Passed conscription certificate (conscripts undergoing basic military training are eligible to apply)
- High school diploma
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
- Category B driver's license
- Group Commander Training (Gruppbefälsutbildning)
Personal Attributes
You are responsible, analytical, and have good teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently. You find it easy to build and maintain good relationships, where trust and confidence are central. You have good structure in your work and the ability to switch between multiple tasks during a workday. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Merits

Employment type: Fixed-term employment; the Swedish Armed Forces apply a 6-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.
