Our research and development department, located in Hagfors, is the largest in the world within the tool steel industry.

We are now looking for an operator for one of our units within machine machining. Do you want to work in a fast-paced environment with good opportunities for development and responsibility? Then this might be the job for you.

You will belong to the Machine Machining 3 (MB3) department. The position is currently scheduled for daytime hours, but working hours/shifts may be adjusted based on operational needs. Initially, you will work with processing within segment grinding.

Responsibilities

As an operator at MB3, you will among other things:

• Supervise machines and the machine area
• Perform control measurements of materials
• Create and report orders in our business system SAP
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes
• Work actively with safety

MB3 is a department with a high tempo and short delivery times to our customers. Therefore, flexibility is an important trait. You are expected to develop your competence over time and learn several processes within the department to be able to support where the need is greatest.

Quality is a central part of our work, as we handle tight tolerances regarding shape and dimension. At Uddeholm, safety is number one. We constantly work on improvements and routines to ensure we are a safe workplace.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have strong personal drive and commitment, as well as a desire to develop and contribute to improvements in our working methods. You are structured, precise, and have a high safety awareness. You enjoy working in a team and participate actively in improvement work.

You have good computer skills, and experience with SAP is meritorious.

It is also meritorious if you have experience with CNC-controlled machines and cutting machining, and hold forklift and overhead crane licenses.

A valid B-driver's license is required.

You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Additional Information about the Position

The position is a fixed-term employment lasting from August 1st to October 31st, with a chance of extension.
