About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced CNC operator specializing in turret lathes (turning centers) for one of our client companies in Karlstad. The company is well-established in advanced contract manufacturing and works with both small series and special parts in various materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Responsibilities:

• Independently operate and set up turret lathes – from rigging to finished part.
• Perform measurement and quality control according to drawings and tolerance requirements.
• Work with different materials and batch sizes, often in small series.
• Participate in improvement work and contribute to high production quality.
• Edit or create programs in the machine to some extent.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience as a CNC operator, preferably with several years of milling experience.
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings and measurement techniques.
• Understanding of machine settings and tool management.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with programming (CAM or direct machine control).
• Knowledge of control systems such as Siemens, Fanuc, or Heidenhain.
• Forklift or overhead crane license.
