About the Role
Björneborg Steel AB is expanding and is now looking for two machine operators who wish to develop within the machining of steel components. The role involves becoming part of a cohesive team that delivers world-class products. As a machine operator, you will work with turning large steel components, where precision regarding tolerances is crucial. The work is characterized by collaboration and flexibility, where you will support production where needed. The company offers extensive training and a secure workplace with a good team spirit.

In the role of operator, your tasks will primarily consist of:

• Machining of large steel components
• Measurement and quality assurance according to given instructions
• Reading drawings and working based on documentation
• Active collaboration with colleagues for an efficient production flow

The position as a machine operator is a direct employment with Björneborg Steel AB in Björneborg, starting as agreed. The role involves shift work, which suits you if you enjoy varying working hours.

About You
We are looking for you who are practical, have a technical interest, and are curious about the industry. Reading drawings and measurement techniques are central to the role, so you need to feel confident with the basics. Previous experience with turning and/or milling is advantageous. Furthermore, we see that you are patient, structured, and enjoy working in a team. You are flexible, helpful, and contribute to good collaboration within the group.

Key requirements for the position are:

• Basic knowledge of turning, reading drawings, and measurement techniques
• Interest in learning new tasks and developing within the industry
• Precision and quality mindset
