We are now looking for a Material Handler who wants to ensure that the Swedish Armed Forces have the right spare parts and materiel available when needed. With us, you get to combine operational procurement, collaboration, and problem-solving in a socially important mission.
About Us
Swedish Armed Forces Logistics, FMLOG, is responsible for creating the prerequisites for the Armed Forces' operations through efficient logistics and supply solutions.
Procurement & UE is part of FMLOG Supply Unit Central and is responsible for the procurement and supply of spare parts for the Swedish Armed Forces' materiel systems. Through our work, we contribute to high material availability, increased operational capability, and endurance.
About the Role
As a Material Handler, you work with operational procurement and material planning of spare parts. You analyze needs, carry out procurements, and follow up on deliveries to ensure high material availability.
The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with suppliers, customers, technical managers, and colleagues throughout the Swedish Armed Forces. You drive issues forward, build relationships, and contribute to developing our working methods as the operations grow.
Responsibilities
- Analyze procurement and supply needs
- Handle requests for quotations and purchase orders
- Follow up on deliveries and supplier performance
- Handle delivery and quality deviations
- Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and technical managers
- Participate in the development and improvement of working methods and processes
Qualifications
- Completed upper secondary education
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel
- Category B driver's license
We would like you to have experience in
- Operational procurement, procurement, or material planning
- Supplier dialogue and delivery follow-up
- ERP systems such as PRIO or SAP
- Supply chain or logistics planning
- Swedish Armed Forces, FMV, or the defense industry
Meritorious
- Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' operations
- Experience working in PRIO or SAP
- Post-secondary education in logistics, procurement, technology, or supply chain
- Knowledge of logistics and supply processes
- Experience in supplier collaboration and follow-up

Employment type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.
