Parkskolan is a two-track school for grades F–5 with approximately 230 students, centrally located in Aneby. This autumn, we will expand the operations to include grade 6, which means two additional classes and a student body of approximately 270. We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to develop Parkskolan together with us.

Job Responsibilities

The assignment includes an appointment as a Senior Teacher until 2028. The appointment will be reviewed in 2028 based on the new regulations according to the national merit system. Depending on your competence, you will be placed in your basic employment as a teacher in Math/Science or Swedish/Social Studies. As a Senior Teacher, the assignment involves actively contributing to the development of the middle school, with a focus on creating a clear and sustainable "red thread" throughout the entire school's operations.

You have a central role in the school's development work and function as:

• Team Leader
• Support to the Principal
• Driving force in collegial learning together with other Senior Teachers

In your teaching, you work based on students' needs, experiences, and current governing documents. You plan, implement, and systematically follow up on teaching in close collaboration with colleagues and students.

You are part of a team and primarily collaborate with one or two teachers regarding the same grade level. During the school day, you also collaborate with other professions within the school's operations.

To succeed in the role, we are looking for someone who is:

• Engaged and relationship-building
• Structured and clear in your leadership
• Accustomed to planning and implementing teaching with the student's learning in focus
• Skilled at meeting each student based on their individual prerequisites

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher for grades 4–6 with the eligibility to teach Swedish/Social Studies or Math/Science. Eligibility in Art and/or English is meritorious.

To be considered for the Senior Teacher assignment, you must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a teaching license
• Be able to document at least four years of well-recognized work with teaching
• Have shown very good ability to improve student results
• Have a strong commitment to developing teaching
• Be assessed as particularly qualified for teaching by the employer

You have good communication skills and build strong relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You inspire and motivate your surroundings and actively contribute to the school's development. As a Senior Teacher, you are expected to lead development processes that strengthen students' learning. In Aneby Municipality, we work with a combination of scientific grounds and proven experience, which requires you to be curious, analytical, and development-oriented.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability. We value a solution-oriented approach and good cooperation skills.
