About Vällingby Eye Clinic

The clinic has been established for 15 years. Our practice is staffed by experienced ophthalmologists, pediatric ophthalmologists, and orthoptists. In the operating room, our eye surgeons perform cataract surgeries and refractive lens exchanges.

We have well-educated staff who prepare for doctor visits, assist during procedures, and run their own clinics. Our team includes ophthalmic nurses, theatre nurses, nursing assistants, opticians, and optician assistants. We have a wonderful team with great collaboration among ourselves.

Our clinic is modernly equipped both technically and materially for examinations and treatments within each specialty. We work primarily on behalf of Region Stockholm but also have a private section for refractive lens exchanges.

We are looking for you who are positive and service-oriented and have experience assisting with lens exchanges. If you also have experience with eye clinics, it is a merit.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible nurse for the operating department
• Assist surgeon during cataract/refractive surgery
• Administrative tasks
• Reception work

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse
• Experience working in ophthalmology and surgery
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written

Employment

• Fixed-term employment for 4 months
• Full-time/part-time according to agreement
• Working hours weekdays: 7:30 – 16:15
• Pension benefits
