We are now looking for a Group Insurance Manager to support our Risk Management and Insurance function.

Your team
The Group Insurance Manager is part of the Epiroc Group Legal, which includes Group Risk Management and Insurance. You will report to the Epiroc Head of Risk Management and Insurance and work closely with other functions in the Group.
Group Risk Management and Insurance is a function responsible for Risk Management including Loss Prevention, Business Continuity Management, and support in Contractual Reviews. A reinsurance captive is managed as well as securing adequate insurance protection via a number of Global Insurance Programs. The function is also responsible for Enterprise Risk Management for Divisional Management and consolidation of outcomes at the Group level.
Your mission
In this role, you will support different functions and businesses at Epiroc with an extensive range of risk- and insurance-related activities. You will be working closely with the Head of Group Risk Management and Insurance, the companies within the Epiroc Group, as well as external parties, e.g., insurance brokers, risk engineers, and underwriters.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate insurance value reporting for the global insurances, including premium allocation
- Ensure an efficient process and coordination between Group Risk Management, insurance providers, and companies, functions, and business units globally
- Ensure accuracy of insurance policies and payments
- Support the organization in claims management
- Review insurance clauses in contracts and provide advice in line with Group Risk and Insurance guidelines
- Support in M&A processes; due diligence and insurance integration
- Evaluate the adequacy of insurance coverage
- Handle the insurance renewal process for certain insurances
- Negotiate and place insurance coverage
- Update internal guidelines
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you need to have exceptionally good negotiation and problem-solving skills, together with the ability to work under high pressure, being service-oriented, and ensuring that projects are followed through. As a person, you are a self-starter, structured, and goal-oriented. Great communication skills together with a high level of integrity are required.
Other requirements
- Relevant academic education
- Excellent English and Swedish written and oral skills
- 10+ years of working experience within the insurance industry, in an international environment
- Comprehensive insurance knowledge within property, business interruption, liability, financial lines, and marine cargo. Knowledge within any of the following areas is a plus; cyber, M&A, captive management.
- Strong knowledge and relations within the insurance industry
Location and travel
This position is based at the Epiroc Head Office in Sickla, Sweden. Occasional travel may be required.
