About Us

Telia Field Operations is Telia's own contracting business, and our primary task is to ensure that Telia's national security customers are always operational and can expand, even during crises and emergency preparedness. We work with fiber construction, reconnections, network security work, method development, network investigations, migration work, etc. Our assignment also includes service, delivery, and fault resolution of the fixed network.

Here, you will become part of a national team with our skilled employees. We are located in Örebro, Trollhättan, Gothenburg, Sundsvall, Stockholm, Kalmar, Gotland, Luleå, and Skåne. We currently have about 55 employees, of whom 4 are project engineers.

Within the East unit, we are looking for a project engineer for our office in Solna with a catchment area of Northern Stockholm-Gävle. An alternative location may also be considered. We have a culture within the unit focused on project engineering, where we support and help each other. We care about each other's health and well-being.

Description

As a project engineer, you will primarily design and lead assignments within Telia's network. You are responsible for your own assignments. This includes contact with the client, creating time & resource plans, cost follow-up, resource and quality assurance. Ordering subcontractors, material ordering, developing technical solutions for the assignment, and documentation.

As a project engineer, you also need to have good collaboration skills as the role involves contact and cooperation with clients, end customers, technicians, landowners, subcontractors, and colleagues. The work will involve security-sensitive information, so you must be able to handle work under high confidentiality. We welcome female applicants.

Qualifications

• Must have worked as a project engineer within Telecom for at least 2 years
• Category B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of the Office package
• Experience handling TA plans and permits
• Able to read and interpret LNS/UTS

An employment with us involves placement in a security class that requires Swedish citizenship. Security clearance with register check will be conducted prior to employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.

Merits
