Inhouse Tech is looking for a Future Business Area Manager in Infrastructure Construction

The Role

Currently, our infrastructure construction projects are shared between the building, bridge, and industrial construction departments. Our goal is to establish a new, dedicated department with full focus on infrastructure construction.

In this role, you will serve as the Business Area Manager for the infrastructure construction department, either directly upon hiring or in the near future. You will collaborate closely with the building, bridge, and industrial construction departments with the aim of establishing an independent unit. Your focus areas will include facilities such as water treatment plants and power infrastructure.

You will have overall responsibility for planning, execution, and follow-up. Your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring the market and establishing new customer contacts.
• Preparing bids for public and private clients.
• Leading design assignments as a project manager/designer.
• Recruiting employees to build a team with the right competencies.

This is a key role where you will have the opportunity to build and shape our business area in infrastructure construction from the ground up.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who have several years of experience in design and construction within infrastructure, and who currently work as a project manager, technical lead, or in a similar role.

It is important that you enjoy working operationally and contribute your technical expertise. At the same time, you are driven by doing business and developing and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

We also see that you have an academic background, such as a Master of Science in Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a relevant specialization.

It is important that you enjoy taking overall responsibility and are confident in taking a leadership role.
