Campus Manilla is looking for a School Counselor

Are you a dedicated individual passionate about student well-being, seeking a developmental role in a beautiful and stimulating environment? Campus Manilla is currently looking for a School Counselor for our comprehensive and upper secondary school. The position is a part-time fixed-term contract (25–40%) for one year, starting in August 2026.

Your Responsibilities

As a School Counselor, you represent the psychosocial competence within both of the school's student health teams. You will work with health-promoting, preventive, and remedial measures at the individual, group, and organizational levels.

Responsibilities include supervision and consultation for teachers, mentors, and student support staff, individual conversations with students, group sessions, class work, parent contacts, school social investigations, and collaboration with external actors such as social services and child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP). Together with the student health team, school management, and other staff, you will help develop routines, plans, and policies, and contribute to the development of the school's student health work.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about seeing the student in context and using their competence to promote the school's psychosocial learning environment.

We seek someone accustomed to working in teams and who views collaboration as a prerequisite for student health. You have good experience working with children and young people in school settings, and preferably in other areas such as social services or child and adolescent psychiatry. Previous experience as a School Counselor is advantageous. Your focus is on developing and driving student health work at the individual, group, and organizational levels, promoting collaboration, and providing specific expertise within the organization.

We are looking for someone who easily builds trusting relationships, collaborates well with others, and has strong verbal and written communication skills.

Campus Manilla is operated by the non-partisan and non-religious foundation Carpe Scientia. The school operates entirely without profit motives and aspires to become Sweden's best school. Located in our beautiful premises on Djurgården, we offer both comprehensive and upper secondary education. Campus Manilla has a total of approximately 800 students from preschool class to the third year of upper secondary school, and around 110 employees.
