Your Mission

As a Housing Coordinator, you will be part of the municipality's housing group, which consists of a small team of two employees. In this role, you are responsible for the planning, coordination, and follow-up of the reception and settlement of newly arrived individuals assigned to the municipality by the Swedish Migration Agency. The work places high demands on structure, coordination skills, and continuous follow-up to ensure a long-term sustainable settlement process.

Furthermore, the position involves close and active collaboration with both internal operations and external actors, including property owners, authorities, and representatives from civil society.

Some of the tasks include:

  • Coordinate and plan settlement based on assignments.
  • Be responsible for the acquisition, distribution, and follow-up of housing.
  • Implement, follow up on, and administer social contracts.
  • Provide rental advice and support to households regarding housing issues.
  • Actively work on eviction prevention measures.
  • Collaborate with landlords, authorities, and other partners.
  • Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with current legislation and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of routines and working methods.

Your Experience

  • Post-secondary relevant education in social work.
  • Previous experience working with housing issues, integration, and authority operations.
  • Good knowledge of legislation related to reception and housing issues.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Valid B-class driver's license.

Merits include:

About the Workplace

The Housing Group is part of the Social Services for Adults unit, where we have both an authority section and an implementation section based on support regarding harmful use or addiction, intimate partner violence, crime, and co-occurring disorders. At Social Services for Adults, we also have CM (Case Manager), coordinator against intimate partner violence, coordinator for family support, and the municipality's family counseling. Other Information

We conduct rolling selections and will hold introductory interviews on the afternoon of July 6th and the morning of July 7th. We appreciate it if you plan your availability accordingly.

Salary between 36,000 to 41,000 SEK depending on experience and responsibility. The final salary is determined individually and is based on a combined assessment of your educational background, previous experience, and the area in which you have previously worked.
