In the child and adolescent psychiatry operations in Hässleholm/Kristianstad, we offer traditional outpatient care, infant and toddler services, as well as access to intermediate care interventions. The operations are conducted in cross-professional teams with broad competence. We have also established functional teams focused on specific problem areas. We have a creative and positive work climate in teams consisting of approximately 20-30 employees at each clinic, from various professional categories such as; doctors, nurses, care assistants, psychologists, social workers/counselors, and medical secretaries.

The infant and toddler service is located in Hässleholm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

There is now a unique opportunity for you to be part of the initiative to develop and work in the team for infants and young children in the Operations Area in Hässleholm! We are now looking for a counselor who, together with a psychologist, will drive this work forward.

The responsibilities include performing child psychiatric assessments and qualified interaction work with children under the age of five together with their parents. Around each patient, you will have close collaboration with a psychologist or therapist. The duties also include regular record keeping and collaboration with neighboring care providers. The work environment is highly valued, and we cherish good camaraderie with humor and an open atmosphere.

The position also involves collaboration with neighboring care providers, such as parent and child health care, pediatric clinic, child and adolescent habilitation, preschool, and social services. You will work both independently and in collaboration with other employees in the outpatient team as well as other infant and toddler teams in Region Skåne. We are constantly working on development and can offer you training of both short and more extensive character. Travel within the job may occur.

Working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply have a valid social work degree. We view it as positive if you have a license as a health care counselor and/or basic psychotherapy training. Language skills in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are a requirement for the position. Experience in child psychiatric treatment work with infant and toddler families and knowledge of children's early development and attachment are requirements for the position. It is meritorious if you have training in interaction therapy and further education step 1.
