Scania Transport Laboratory is growing and looking for more engaged truck drivers for side jobs within their international flow in Ishøj (Denmark). With us, the job is about more than just transporting goods. You get to drive modern and advanced equipment, test new systems, and provide valuable feedback directly from the road. It is your driving shifts that help Scania shape the next generation of trucks.

This position is a collaboration between us at Manpower and Scania. You will be employed by us at Manpower but work on-site at Scania. This is a side job that requires you to have another main occupation of at least 50%.

Working hours vary and are scheduled during the day, evening, and night on both weekdays and weekends. Overnight stays occur.

Job Responsibilities

  • International transport from Ishøj in Denmark to Zwolle in the Netherlands.
  • You are expected to provide ongoing feedback on products and services used in the work.
  • You participate in interviews and tests together with engineers and other developers from the R&D department.
  • Ad-hoc driving within Sweden and, as needed, Europe.
  • Responsibility for correct cargo securing according to current safety regulations.

About the Job

In addition to transporting goods, our most important task is to test and verify new products and services, as well as report experiences directly to the engineers at Scania's R&D organization. We also evaluate competitor vehicles, which means you will sometimes drive vehicles from other manufacturers.

Additionally, we are looking for you who

  • Have another main occupation of at least 50% (studies, part-time work, etc.).
  • Can work extra during the day, evening, night, and weekends.
  • Hold a CE driver's license.
  • Have a valid YKB (Certificate of Professional Competence).
  • Fluently speak and write Swedish and English.
  • Have access to your own car.
