About the role
As a coach with us, your primary task is to create meaningful activities for our participants together with your colleagues. Based on the assignment, you support our participants so that they get the chance to develop according to their abilities. You work individually adapted and listen closely to the individual's needs primarily. You also have administrative tasks such as documentation and some planning. Furthermore, you contribute to a good quality of the operation, among other things, with the support of Nytida's pedagogical framework. The employment is a part-time position on weekdays during the day with the possibility of permanent employment.

About Gruvgatan
Gruvgatan's daily activity is aimed at people with a diagnosis within the autism spectrum, with or without intellectual disability.

We offer an individually adapted and developmental daily activity where the participants' needs, goals, and interests guide the process. We offer activities individually or in groups as well as the opportunity for practice. We currently have just over 30 participants.

Physical environment

The operation is located on two floors, which allows for some division if necessary. We have a number of smaller rooms for individual activities, as well as some larger spaces for movement, music, or other common activities. We have a smaller kitchen on the entrance floor and a larger one on the upper floor for cooking, baking, and shared lunches. In spring and summer, we can also use our terrace and garden.

Gruvgatan's daily activity is located in the Högsbo district in Gothenburg, next to Änggårdsbergen. Taking public transport into Gothenburg Central takes about 25 minutes, and the frequency is good. The nearest bus stop is 300 meters from the facility.

Your experience and knowledge
We would like you to have upper secondary education in care and nursing, but above all, that you have experience working within LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Previous work in daily activity, knowledge of different forms of cognitive support, and low-affective approach are meritorious. Furthermore, you speak and write fluent Swedish and have good computer skills.

You are clear, pedagogical, and driven by the desire to help people grow and develop. As a person, you are sensitive to the participants' needs, find it easy to cooperate, and can work situationally adapted.
