Värmland County Healthcare Alliance is a municipal alliance where the 16 municipalities in Värmland are members. The alliance runs residential care homes (HVB) in several areas and is a key player in the overall development work regarding harmful use/addiction in the county. Addiction Center Värmland is run jointly with Region Värmland for the target group of adults with harmful use/addiction in need of withdrawal care. Kvarnbacken is an integrated residential home for adults that we run jointly with Region Värmland. Riddarnäset is an integrated operation where we, together with Region Värmland, provide residential care for young people aged 13-20. Flöjten is our acute and investigation home with a target group of children aged 0-12. The alliance also arranges courses and conferences in the field of harmful use/addiction and, together with Region Värmland and the county's municipalities, has a mandate to jointly develop the work with harmful use/addiction in Värmland.

Description

The residential home Riddarnäset is located in Nykroppa, Filipstad Municipality. The operation receives up to 10 young people aged 13–20 with risk or substance abuse issues combined with neuropsychiatric and/or psychiatric difficulties as well as other problematic behaviors. Placement occurs under both the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU).

Our goal is to run a high-quality residential home where every young person receives the support and treatment needed to create change and development.

The operation is run by Värmland County Healthcare Alliance in collaboration with Region Värmland, the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic. Treatment staff work integratively together with nurses, psychologists, and doctors. The unit also includes a resource school run by Filipstad Municipality, which is closely integrated with the treatment operation.

We are now looking for both permanent employees, a longer substitute for 6 months, and hourly substitutes.

Job Responsibilities

As treatment staff, you are responsible for the daily, practical work with the young people. Together with other staff, you work based on established treatment plans and contribute to their implementation and follow-up.

The work involves collaboration with the young person's family and network, social services caseworkers, as well as other relevant authorities and contacts. Documentation in the form of journal notes is included, which presupposes that you can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

The placement period at Riddarnäset has clear goals and purposes. Therefore, you plan and carry out structured activities together with the young people, both individually and in groups. This means you participate in both theoretical and practical activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education as a treatment educator/assistant or other education that the employer considers equivalent, alternatively relevant professional experience.

As a person, you find it easy to build relationships with young people. You are flexible, proactive, and have good stress tolerance. The work can be demanding at times, which places demands on calmness, stability, and endurance.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and a valid B driver's license.

Conditions

Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend. Certain on-call and standby duties are included.

The permanent position and the longer substitute position are at 100%.

The hourly substitutes are as needed for shorter and longer periods.

To work with us, a valid extract from the police's suspicion and crime register for residential homes is required.
