Your Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you play a central role in ensuring that Orthex machinery, equipment, and production systems function efficiently and safely. You will become part of an engaged maintenance team of approximately 10 people and work closely with production on both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as technical improvements.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure high operational reliability
• Troubleshoot and rectify operational disruptions within mechanics and electricity
• Monitor and optimize machines and systems for safe and stable production
• Participate in projects, installations, and technical improvement work
• Work actively with 5S and continuous improvements
• Document performed maintenance efforts in the maintenance system
• Contact suppliers and external contractors

For the right person, there are good opportunities to develop within the organization in the long term and take the next step towards a role as Team Leader or Coordinator within the maintenance operations.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a technical education in areas such as electricity, automation, or industry, or alternatively have acquired equivalent competence through work experience. You have at least three years of experience in maintenance work within the manufacturing industry and thrive in a senior and independent role where you take personal responsibility for planning, prioritizing, and driving your work forward.

We would like you to have:

• Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Understanding of electrical systems, electrical engineering, and control technology
• Experience or interest in automation and robotics
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams as well as technical documentation
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial environment
• Good computer skills and experience working in maintenance systems
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic knowledge of English

To succeed in the role, you are a responsible and solution-oriented person with a strong interest in technology. You work in a structured and meticulous manner, have good analytical skills, and enjoy identifying and solving problems. You are a team player who collaborates well with others, while also feeling confident in taking initiative when needed. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working as a team leader, with responsibility for daily management, planning, and prioritization of work orders.

• On-call duties outside regular working hours occur in the role
