Caverion Sweden is now aggressively expanding and launching a new business unit focused on energy services and digital property management. Our ambition is clear: we aim to help our customers in both the public and private sectors take a holistic approach to energy usage, environmental performance, and smart control, from analysis and project implementation to digital monitoring and optimization.

We are now looking for a driven and experienced Energy Engineer for advisory services as well as for our various energy service projects within the Energy & Environment business unit. The role is highly varied, and you will work on diverse energy assignments, both in existing large and small energy service projects and by creating new business through advisory services, energy investigations, and mapping.

You will become part of a friendly team currently consisting of 12 people. The role is based at Caverion's modern office at Västberga Allé 36A, Hägersten - Stockholm.

About the role

Your role as an Energy Engineer requires broad competence in both energy systems and the energy market, as the work involves meeting a variety of customer needs and requests. As an engineer at Caverion, you will work on both small and large energy projects, with occasional project management responsibilities depending on your personal attributes. You will handle daily contact with customers and colleagues. You will also contribute expert knowledge during new sales processes and actively support the internal organization with competence in the energy field.

The role offers great freedom under responsibility but also sets high demands on results and satisfied customers to build long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inventorize, calculate, estimate, and compile energy measures in new and existing projects
• Actively participate in the design process
• Compile and write reports
• Plan, drive, and organize smaller energy projects
• Communicate, engage, and motivate employees and customers
• Within projects, take ownership of proposed measures and follow up on and optimize building equipment and systems
• Communicate with technical specialists as well as commercial contacts with contractors and suppliers
• Further develop customer relationships and promote upselling

We are looking for you who:

We are looking for you who have a university education in energy and environment and/or equivalent work experience. You have documented experience as an energy engineer as a contractor, consultant, or within industry. Holding a certificate for performing EKL (Energy Mapping for Large Companies) and/or a certificate as an Energy Expert is meritorious. Furthermore, you have documented knowledge of building technical systems such as building automation, ventilation, and/or plumbing systems. Experience in designing HVAC or ventilation systems is meritorious.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, social, and have the ability to build relationships and collaborate. You work goal-oriented and have a burning interest in technology within the building sector. Furthermore, you thrive working independently and proactively with a focus on business and results.

The role requires good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as well as a B-driver's license. Travel for work occurs, but it varies depending on the assignment. At most, an average of 1 day per week.
