Björns Kök opened its doors just before Christmas 2025, and we have had a flying start. In the heart of Vemdalen By, we are building what is destined to become the natural living room of the Vemdalen mountains – a place where guests, locals, and the entire village gather year-round. Behind the restaurant stands KBK Vemdalen AB, and we run it with equal parts love, passion, and a strong drive to make Vemdalen a destination for all seasons.

We are now looking for an engaged and service-oriented waiter/waitress who wants to become an important part of the team at Björns Kök in Vemdalen.

At our place, the guest experience is at the forefront, and we work together to create a pleasant and professional restaurant environment where all guests feel welcome. We are a growing company with several operations and offer good opportunities for development within the organization.

Björns Kök is the heart of our operations, but not all we do. We also run:

• Fäbokrogen – the golf restaurant at Klövsjö-Vemdalen Golf Club
• Värdshuset Vargen – the classic inn on Vemdalsskalet, which we take over for the winter season 2026/2027
• FlipIt – trampoline park
• Padel Hall
• KBK Arena – Activity hall adjacent to the restaurant, where we also host many exciting events throughout the year

About the position

As a waiter/waitress with us, you work closely with the guests and are responsible for providing professional and personal service. The work involves both lunch, à la carte, and events.

The position is part-time, at least 75 %, with the possibility of more hours within the company, starting as agreed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide professional service
• Take orders and serve food and drinks
• Ensure the restaurant maintains a high service level
• Collaborate with the kitchen for a smooth service flow

• Have experience working in restaurants or service
• Are service-oriented, positive, and stress-resistant
• Have good teamwork skills
• Are responsible and detail-oriented
