We are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Manager on behalf of our client in the Värnamo region.

About the Role
As a Manufacturing Manager, you have overall responsibility for leading and developing production within your area. You work both operationally in daily activities and strategically to drive long-term improvements.

Production is led together with other leading functions, and you are supported by team leaders, production technicians, as well as internal support functions such as quality, HR, and planning.

You are responsible for an organization with numerous employees, meaning you play a key role in both business development and creating an engaged and well-functioning organization. You are part of the production management team and report to your superior.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and monitor production to ensure targets regarding volume, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Actively work towards a safe and secure working environment.
• Develop and coach employees, including responsibility for performance reviews and salary revisions.
• Drive continuous improvement work and efficiency enhancements within production.
• Contribute to strategic decisions and development within production management.

Your Profile
We appreciate that you have a relevant educational background, but the greatest emphasis is placed on experience and personal qualities. To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Several years of leadership experience in manufacturing industry, preferably in a similar role.
• Documented experience in personnel responsibility and organizational development.
• Experience in improvement work, such as Lean or similar methods.
• Good understanding of working environment, quality, and production economics.
• Good knowledge of the Office package and experience with business systems (ERP).
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

As a leader, you are both results-oriented and relationship-building. You have a good ability to motivate and engage your employees and create a strong team spirit.
