You will step into a technically advanced environment where a private, offline-capable cloud platform is to be developed, further developed, and operated with high demands on security, stability, and control. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the architecture in the OpenStack environment and become a key technical voice in matters concerning networking, storage, compute, security layers, and the platform's long-term direction.

You will work in a context where the solution needs to follow established standards, security requirements, and internal design rules, while being robust, scalable, and capable of further development over time. The role involves close collaboration with development teams, operations organizations, and security functions, where you contribute both strategically and hands-on in technical decisions, implementation, and improvement work.

This is a role for you who wants to influence the architecture of a complex platform where robustness, security, and scalability are at the center.

• You design and further develop the overall architecture for the OpenStack environment, including networking, storage, compute, and security layers.
• You lead the technical implementation of new features, services, and components in the platform.
• You ensure that the solution meets relevant security requirements, classification rules, and internal guidelines.
• You develop and improve automation using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, or similar tools.
• You analyze performance and capacity and drive improvements that strengthen the platform's stability and scalability.
• You produce clear, structured, and traceable documentation for architecture, design decisions, and operations.
• You support internal teams through knowledge transfer, workshops, and ongoing technical advisory.

• At least 5–10 years of experience with OpenStack architecture and operations in large environments.
• Documented experience with Ceph, Neutron, Nova, Keystone, Glance, and Cinder.
• Strong competence in Kubernetes, Linux, networking, security, and automation.
• Experience with offline environments, private data centers, and high-security requirements.
• Ability to work closely with development teams, operations organizations, and security functions.
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance check (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted).

• Experience with classified security environments.
• Experience with export control.
• Experience with standardized design rules.
