Your responsibilities

As a nursing assistant here, you work closely with the patient and are a vital part of the care chain. Your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring vital signs and providing nursing care.
• Managing telemetry and ECG.
• Documenting in the medical record system.
• Contributing to care plans and risk assessments.

About the department

Ward 5C is a cardiology ward with four ICU beds (Intensive Cardiac Care). Here, we care for patients with heart and vascular diseases, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-operative care after heart surgeries. We have a high patient flow and collaborate closely with the emergency department and the heart clinic.

We are looking for you who

• Are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with experience in emergency care.
• Have a professional and attentive approach to patients.
• Take responsibility.
• Communicate clearly.
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
• Focus on providing the best possible care.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

The working hours are night shifts, with a weekly workload of 32 hours.
