Do you want to be part of building the industry projects of the future? Bravida is looking for an industrial pipefitter/welder for our division in Borlänge.

At Bravida Industri in Borlänge, we primarily work with pipe fitting within hydropower and process industry, but other complex and technically demanding installations also occur, both locally and in other locations. We offer our customers the entire chain from idea to finished piping system.

About the role

As an industrial pipefitter, you need to be prepared to travel for work during parts of the year. You are responsible for both the fitting and welding of pressure-bearing piping systems in various materials. You will work closely with project managers, other fitters, and welders in a team where safety, quality, and precision are central.

Responsibilities

• Fitting, joint preparation, and welding of industrial piping systems and steel structures according to drawings, isometrics, flow diagrams, and specifications.
• Welding with TIG/MMA (depending on the project) of carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Fitting of pipe hangers and secondary steel.
• Perform leak testing, pressure tests, and participate in quality control.
• Collaborate with other professional groups and supervisors to maintain schedules and safety requirements.
• Document completed work and follow current occupational health and safety regulations.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is practical, self-motivated, and meticulous. You value professional pride and have good experience from industrial installations and feel confident in both welding and fitting.

Requirements

• Vocational certificate as a pipefitter and/or documented experience from similar assignments.
• Welding qualification certificate according to e.g., EN ISO 9606-1 for TIG/MMA.
• Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Good ability to read and interpret isometrics, welding plans, and piping diagrams.
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Willingness to work in other locations
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

Merits

• Experience from projects within the paper & pulp industry, steel industry, energy, petrochemicals, or other heavy industry.
• Hot Work certificate, SSG, Mobile Work Platforms, Fall Protection, Forklift, Safe Lifting, Crane Operator Certificate, etc.
• Experience of prefabrication in the workshop as well as site assembly.
• Welding qualification certificate according to e.g., EN ISO 9606-1 for MIG/MAG.
