About Us

The Medicine Clinic is the county's largest clinic, with operations in nephrology, general internal medicine (including emergency care at the emergency department and AVA), cardiology, geriatrics, endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, SSIH/palliative care, and neurology/stroke. The activities of the Neurology/Stroke section include investigation, care, and treatment at our neurology outpatient clinic and stroke ward. Our section is staffed by experienced specialist doctors, newly qualified specialists, and resident doctors (ST-doctors) at various stages of their specialist training. We are now looking for another ST-doctor who wants to be part of the continued development of our operations. We are an ambitious team that is happy to share our knowledge and prioritize good supervision. Your Responsibilities

Standard duties for an ST-doctor. This includes working in outpatient care at the neurology clinic and in inpatient care at the stroke ward. We work in teams for most diagnostic groups within neurology/stroke. As part of a side placement in internal medicine, the role also includes working at our emergency department. Specialist doctors from the section staff a neurology consultation function during daytime on weekdays, and there is a 24/7 stroke thrombolysis on-call service. During on-call hours, this serves as a home-based backup line. We are happy to provide more information upon request.

Your Qualifications

Licensed physician with an interest in neurology. We also expect you to have good communication skills in contact with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Swedish language skills according to the EU self-assessment scale, level C1. Personal suitability is given great weight.

Employment Type

Permanent position, 100%. Start date by agreement.
