The Swedish Fortification Administration is now seeking a Operations Manager for Oskarshamn. Your daily life as an Operations Manager

We are looking for you who want to contribute to the establishment of property operations for a new building and who are motivated by the opportunity to shape the business at an early stage. You create good conditions for the team's work through clear structure, efficient operational planning, and close collaboration with both administrators and tenants. The position also entails significant administrative responsibility, where planning, follow-up, and documentation are a natural part of the daily work.

The assignment covers the operation and management of the Fortification Administration's land, facilities, and properties. You have personnel responsibility for an operational district consisting mainly of operational technicians, but also including building technicians and operational group leaders. The main operational and personnel responsibility concerns the Eksjö Outer operational group, in accordance with the current work order. You are part of the region's management group and report to the Regional Director. Business travel occurs to a limited extent.

In the role, you are responsible for the business's results, budget, as well as planning, control, and follow-up. You have overall responsibility for personnel, working environment, and competence supply, ensuring that employees have the right conditions to achieve the business's goals. Part of the assignment is to develop and establish working methods and routines for the operation of a new building. You are further responsible for the delivery within the operational assignment towards administrators, including procurement, call-offs, and follow-up of external services. In addition, you ensure efficient and current operational planning with associated follow-up and analysis. The role also includes holding the function as custodian for flammable goods (BVKF), being the electrical operations manager according to delegation, and being responsible for systematic fire protection work (SBA).

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university, university college, or vocational higher education degree with a focus on construction or technology. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent management competence through professional experience and supplementary training assessed as equivalent. You have several years of experience in operational activities and a supervisory role within the property industry or similar business, where personnel responsibility has been included. Furthermore, you have experience with administrative support systems and very good IT and administrative skills. You communicate very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. The position also requires a B driver's license and Swedish citizenship.

It is meritorious if you have education with a focus on economics, law, leadership, or within the AFF structure, fire, and self-control. We also view positively experience from public operations or security-classified operations, as well as knowledge of work according to LOU (Public Procurement Act). It is also meritorious if you have experience or knowledge in electricity, budgeting, and forecasting, or property administrative systems. Furthermore, experience from the Swedish Armed Forces or the defense sector, especially related to the facility side, is meritorious.

About the employment

The position is a permanent employment and may start with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be war-placed. The location is Oskarshamn. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security investigation with register control will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
