Security Technician in Kalmar

We are looking for you to become part of our wonderful team in Kalmar. We help each other and work together across all security areas, so we are looking for you who are a team player and have previous experience in a role as a security technician.

Job Responsibilities

As a security technician, you work with the installation, commissioning, and service of security technical systems for our customers in Kalmar and the surrounding area. You will be involved in varied projects where modern technology is in focus, and where you collaborate with both colleagues and customers to find the best solutions.

Areas of Responsibility

• Installation, configuration, and commissioning of intrusion alarms, access control systems, CCTV, and fire alarm systems.
• Perform ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of security technical systems.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers on-site and remotely.
• Document completed work and ensure that service protocols are updated according to routines and regulations.
• Work according to current safety regulations, standards, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the customer, project managers, and other colleagues to deliver secure and customer-adapted solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completed upper secondary education in electricity/technology or equivalent practical experience.
• At least two years of documented professional experience working with the installation of security systems.
• Advantageous with experience in commissioning security systems.
• Knowledge in one of the areas: intrusion, access control, CCTV, and/or fire is a requirement.
• Advantageous experience with systems such as SPC, RCO, ASSA ARX, APTUS, AXIS, and Hanwha or similar.
• Advantageous with work as an electrician with an ECY certificate.
• A category B driver's license is a requirement.

To be considered for employment in this position, approval is required from a check by the Swedish Police Authority. This position may involve undergoing a security clearance based on current regulations regarding security protection.
