Operator for industrial operations in Malmö

TopWork is now seeking an operator for an established industrial operation in Malmö. Are you technically interested, thrive in a production environment, and have experience from the industry? Then this could be your next step.

About the role

As an operator, you will work with processing steel materials in the production line. You will be responsible for monitoring and operating machinery, ensuring that materials are processed according to specifications, and performing quality controls during production.

The work also involves handling coils, sheet metal, and finished materials using an overhead crane, and in some cases, a forklift. You will become an integral part of the production team, where safety, quality, and efficiency are paramount.

The position is scheduled to start after the summer holidays, with a preliminary start from week 32 onwards. The exact start date will be determined in dialogue with the suitable candidate and the client company.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment
• Handle and process steel materials according to production orders
• Set up and adjust machines as needed
• Perform quality controls and measurements
• Handle materials using an overhead crane
• Contribute to a safe and efficient production flow
• Report deviations and minor operational disruptions

We are looking for someone who

• Has previous experience from industrial or production work
• Has a valid overhead crane license
• Has good technical understanding and machine familiarity
• Can work independently and take personal responsibility
• Fluently speaks and writes Swedish
• Has a strong safety mindset and is meticulous in your work

Meritorious qualifications

• Forklift license
• Experience in machine operator roles
• Experience in the steel, sheet metal, or metal industry
• Experience with slitting lines, cutting lines, or other material processing production
