Nurse/Psychiatric Nurse for Addiction Clinic in Skellefteå

The Health and Medical Care Administration brings together primary care, dental care, and hospital care into a unified administration, organized into county and local healthcare areas. The Skellefteå/Norsjö local healthcare area includes the Emergency Department, the Center for Operative Activities, the Medical and Geriatric Clinic, the Rehabilitation Center, the Psychiatric Clinic, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, our operations strive to provide good and accessible care to our residents.

The Psychiatric Clinic in Skellefteå consists of nearly 270 employees. Together, we provide specialized care within outpatient services, inpatient care, psychiatric involuntary care, and forensic psychiatric care.

We are now looking for a Nurse/Psychiatric Nurse for our Addiction Clinic. You will be part of a team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, doctors, medical secretaries, and the unit manager.

Our patient group has a diagnosed addiction problem, often with comorbidities involving other psychiatric diagnoses. We work closely with the Municipality's outpatient services, the Police Authority, and other healthcare neighbors to offer the patient the best possible support.

Job Responsibilities

You will work with support and treatment interventions. We provide individualized care, and as a therapist, you will play a key role in shaping the care together with the patient based on their needs and goals for the contact.

The work consists of, among other things, medication management, sample collection, and motivational and supportive conversations.

It is important to us that our patients and their relatives feel secure with the care we provide.

The work is scheduled during daytime hours on weekdays without holidays.

Qualifications

To work with us, you must hold a valid nursing license.

Additional qualifications in psychiatry and/or addiction care are meritorious.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You must demonstrate good interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
